What to expect in a session
The first session will begin with a conversation about goals and medical history, including aches and pains and a brief postural analysis. It will focus on education- an introductory understanding of anatomy and how the body works as a unit. Exercises will follow and possibly some at home exercises will be recommended.
The second and all proceeding sessions will be movement based work-outs, increasing in difficulty and complexity as strength, balance and endurance is achieved.
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, preferably of a snug fit. The more body-hugging the clothing, the easier it is for your instructor to see alignment and muscular activation and therefore offer corrections to achieve a more fulfilling experience.
